Warner Home Video is kicking off their new Director Series sets with one of the most important directors of our time, Stanley Kubrick. The series includes newly remastered versions of 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, Eyes Wide Shut, Full Metal Jacket, and The Shining. The set also includes the full length documentary, Stanley Kubrick - A Life in Pictures. Each of the movies will also be available separately on HD-DVD/Blu-Ray and all should be available on October 23. [$80]

Blade Runner: Ultimate Collector's Edition

Finally, Blade Runner gets the proper DVD treatment with the Blade Runner: Ultimate Collector's Edition. The collection features a whopping four versions of the movie including the rare Workprint version of the movie which is newly remastered. The set features a briefcase which contains all the discs as well as a lenticular motion film clip, miniature origami unicorn figurine, miniature replica spinner car, photographs, and a signed letter from director, Ridley Scott.
